Cougar Car Wash is a self-serve car wash located in The Colony, Texas, featuring six bays and twelve vacuums. Owned and operated by Steve and Tamera Westervelt since 2003, the car wash was originally purchased from Steve’s father. In recent years, Tamera sought an easy-to-use, modern payment system that could integrate seamlessly with their existing equipment to address long-standing operational challenges.

The Challenge: Limited Payment Options

For years, Cougar Car Wash relied solely on quarters for payment, which posed several issues:

“Our biggest challenge was keeping enough quarters in the coin changers. If one of our two coin changers had an issue, customers had no other way to pay for services,” Tamera explained.

“I get almost a customer a day telling me how much they love the app,” Tamera shared.
